first album of a great emotional band, Pointless and the title track are always awsome, also if they are slowly moving on a different sond. interview here on Blog Thrower https://blogthrower.wordpress.com/2018/05/05/intervista-ai-falaise-black-metal-italia/ francescodalporco
The album as a whole is great, but the title track is phenomenal--one of the best melodic metal songs I've ever heard. 和美's ethereal voice is the perfect complement to vvildr's growling vocals and masterful instrumentation. More, please! Malcolm McCrimmon
Tokyo band contrast black metal's brutal complexity with shoegaze's abyssal grandeur, resulting in an LP that feels crushing, yet infinite. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 24, 2022
Crushing blackened doom from this German band that counterbalances blinding fury with moments of surprising, melancholy melody. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 8, 2023
It's weird, I spent a lot of time with "Devour the Sun", but for some reason, each album after, much less time was spent. Now at the end of 2023 I've been really sinking into Vvilderness' albums. They're each equally incredible works of art. At first listen, maybe one or two songs might grab me, but then after giving the full album a listen a handful of times, it gets harder to pick a favorite. Tim
